If the fight gets made for New York, it's going to be PPV in the US, draw well at Barclays Center (possibly selling out the building), and Frank Warren will get the chance to market the fight in the UK on BT Sport/BoxNation (possibly even PPV).

Assuming everything is split 50/50, you're talking about needing $20m.

200k homes on SHOPPV puts something like $7.5m into the pot (and Wilder/Fury hyping the fight for 3 months will help generate way more than that).

Think he’ll survive, he’ll still have £50m in the bank to fall back on, plus a rematch, plus his promotional company etc...

I guess that the contract is a bad one. The only reason he agreed before was to call the bluff, but Joshua didn't want it next, so that's gonna cost him.

Whatever happened to ppl saying what they mean and mean what they say??? AJ asked for $50 million with NO buts. Al Haymon and Vegas said OK! Then AJ says but, but I didnt think you would call out my bluff!

I cant stand front runners who pop off at the mouth and then dont back it up...

Honestly I rather Deontay just does the Fury fight, fight a few bums, then retires. Then come back when AJ runs dry and make the super fight. 2021. God I hate boxing smdh.

This A side , B side thing has gotten out of hand. The man is not going to sign the contract. Just shut up and move on.

I think there are bigger expectations for him than the present. He is supposed to be the next Wladimir so anything less than that is a disappointment no? No doubt he appears to be sitting pretty but Forget Wilder, could a guy like Whyte (II), Povetkin, Miller upset Joshua? I don't know. I remember a time when people gave up on Wladimir, but I never did. Anybody older than about 30 might remember that.

Don't get me wrong I like Wilder as a fighter but the fanboy **** riders on here are something else.
Once Wilder cracks AJ's noggin, CTE, degenerative brain disorder, will dominate AJ's life. AJ does not have any intention of ever fighting Wilder. AJ and his team know that Wilder will win by a career changing knockout, and that is what Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua both are fighting to avoid. It is clear that the fifty million dollars confirmed, which AJ had publicly demanded, could not get AJ to sign to fight Wilder. Now we are treated to AJ saying, "Deontay, you must sign for fifteen million." Perhaps the CTE has already begun destroying AJ's brain. Let's be clear, Wilder has come up with the big money for this fight - AJ's offer is a joke and should be treated as a joke. Until Hearn and AJ get serious, Wilder should pay the fools little if any attention.
