    Thats all that matters
Apperently it does matter bc Wilder wont fight a non champion for less then 15 Million ! He wont fight one for 20 .

Its crackhead money for Wilder unless he gets at leat 25 Million for a NON title holder against an undefeated top HW , get with the program !

Time zone difference is huge - Canelo/GGG wasn't prime time in the UK, most people were asleep when it happened.

Yep, I believe Mayweather vs McGregor did over a million, but that was just a once in a lifetime event with the biggest boxing star and mma star of their time.

Hatton vs Mayweather get close to that mark?

From memory, Hatton/Mayweather did a tick over a million in the UK, and a bit more than the US buys. It's easy to forget how much interest Hatton really generated, I think I underestimate it a lot.

A Yank and an MMA star pulling in over a million buys in the UK shows just how much of a once-in-a-blue-moon spectacle that thing was.

I hate a lot of the UK fans on here too, but lets be real. I have a hard enough time staying awake during main events over here (Mikey vs Easter started at 11pm) if the match started at 4am for me, I'd likely just watch it for free online when I woke up.

Absolutely. Hatton's fan base towards the end of his career was insane. I remember he fought in Boston and the arena wasn't all that full, but by the time the Mayweather fight came along, it was a spectacle. That press tour for that fight could not be touched.

Yeah mate BT have been saying they would launch a PPV system in late 2018. As far as I'm aware it hasn't happened yet, so this fight could be the one to get the ball rolling.

Yes, I'd say Fury has a big following. As you have said it's not like Joshua's who is on another level to most. He does have a lot of fans though. I've noticed a bit of a Fury/Joshua side choosing thing going on with some British fans over the last few years.

I think it could do good numbers.

Would definitely do a few hundred thousand minimum. Have to see what the buzz is like when its announced. Joshua/Wilder would do 1.5 million+, if it was in the US. Not difficult seeing Fury getting 500k+

Canelo/Golovkin didnt do any PPV buys in the UK, by the way. Was free on Boxnation and BT Sport.
