At a minimum it'll do 500k in the uk at 5am

Thats just with the fight being announced. Its a much bigger fight to the uk market than canelo ggg. AJ's casual fanbase will tune in too albeit not in the numbers they would if it was aj
This is all before they start to hype it. This is before any beef, face offs, all access shows & social media dialogue

The fight will sell massively in the uk, even at an absurd hour

After the press tour with these two personalities going at it and social media hyping the fight, I’ll double the conservative estimates on UK PPV buys.

Joshua fighting that early in the morning would still get close to, if not surpass the million mark, but his stardom is on another level.

Tell me what you guys think.
With Fury and Wilder going ape on the buildup I guess it cracks a million.

Million at 4 or 5 am???? Wow, that would be a huge surprise to me, but would be great if it happened. I was thinking more so in the 200k range lol.

This fight will be hurt by the fact it will be on BT Sport PPV in the UK. I reckon prime-time on the more widely watched Sky platform, Fury could easily do 500k+. His fanbase has grown massively since his return. On BT Sport, at 3-4-5AM, I'm guessing about 100 or 150k.

A 4 or 5am ring walk in the UK will just mean that everyone stays out and gets upside down drunk before the fight. For most fights where I live, everyone goes to the same place so you get 500 people in the same place so the atmosphere is amazing! Prefer to do that and spend more money on the night out than the £20+ quid on the PPV!

Wow, did not expect to hear these types of numbers. Interesting. So both guys could legitimately end up with like 12-15 million if it does the type of numbers you guys think it will do in the UK.

And lets be real, if it is a competitive fight or neither fighter gets embarrassed, then the Joshua fight will still be big and there on the table. May be a little smaller, but still a massive event.

BT PPV will be available to all Sky/****** customers as far as I am aware, just like you can get ITV PPV the same way.

That's what I figured, but some think the programming leading up to the fight won't be seen by as many people had the fight been on Sky Box Office.

Random, but since we were talking about Mayweather vs Hatton, the programs leading up to the fight were great. You had the 24/7 on HBO, and I believe Sky had a few documentaries themselves.
