Danny Garcia is certainly an interesting guy. His resume' at the top is deeper than most and he came up very tough for a prospect, but he has mixed in some bad opponents in there. This will be his fourth fight as the underdog or even odds. Was close odds against Holt as well. You can't really say that about many other top fighters in the sport. Some of it has to do with him being as vulnerable as he is, but props to him if he beats Porter. Would be one hell of a resume.

If Danny ain't p4p top 5 after he ko Porter erase the list...

For all the s*** opponents Danny fought he beat a lot of big names too and top tier guys, his resume is very good, all very well talking s*** on Guerrero or Rios when your son just beat Berto too Mr Porter. Think Danny should be able to get a decision here.

Kenny's talking about Danny at 147. When fighters get praised for fights they had 5 and 6 years ago, they think they can eat off those fights forever, as Danny has. He's been a ww for the last 3 years, and in that time span, the only dangerous fight he's had was Keith Thurman. Danny's resume at 147 is not better than Shawn's.

All that said, I'm picking him to win this one.

Well no, because he won't be a top 5 fighter. But if he beats Porter, then you can put him borderline top 10 I guess. The result and the way you do it counts for something. Garcia by no metric is better than Crawford/Usyk/Lomachenko/Inoue/M.Garcia/etc. But if he beats Porter then his resume' will be better than some of the guys I listed. I mean it may already be.
