Comments Thread For: Usyk's Promoter: The Boxing World Would Desire Joshua Fight

K2 Ukraine CEO Alexander Krassyuk, who promotes IBF, WBC, WBA, WBO cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (15-0, 11 KOs), believes the entire boxing world would embrace a showdown between his fighter and unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (21-0, 20 KOs).

Just think what would happen should Povetkin KO Joshua.

It's unlikely that Povetkin can totally dominate Joshua in a way that would make a rematch meaningless. So the most likely outcome would be a rematch in April. Now, the more interesting scenario is if Povetkin manages to KO Joshua TWICE. That would be epic.

I actually think that Joshua will erase him quite comfortably, but you just never know what happens in boxing.

I'd love to see Usyk vs Joshua...or/and Wilder.

A rematch in front of 100,000, UK ppv's would double.

If Usyk beats Bellew and Whyte then of course the world will demand Usyk vs. Joshua. This will be the biggest fight in boxing for many years. Most likely it happens in 2020.

No chance in hell that Wilder´s team will let their guy fight Usyk. He makes much more money by fighting Joshua than Usyk.

"Tony Bellew told talkSPORT that Oleksandr Usyk's team have agreed to face him in the UK and also agreed the timescale for the fight to happen - which Eddie Hearn has previously said will be in November." [MENTION=156656]@michaelbensonn on twitter

                    July 27, 2018:

TYSON FURY has promised to “spark out” Deontay Wilder in the USA and insists he is willing to fight Anthony Joshua in London.

The Gypsy King, 29, is set for his second comeback fight on August 18 as he tries to get back to winning world titles.

Former world champion Fury will battle Francesco Pianeta in Belfast after easily defeating Sefer Seferi on his return to the ring last month.

That ended 924 days of inactivity following his stunning win over Wladimir Klitschko to land the WBA, IBF and WBO world titles.

But now he has his eyes on reclaiming the gold now held by Brit rival AJ and American Wilder.

Fury told BT Sport: “I’ve got to get Francesco Pianeta out of the way and then I’ll come for Wilder.

“I’ll fight Deontay Wilder in America, I’ll fight Anthony Joshua in London.

“I’m not afraid of going abroad, I’ve been abroad on the road before on the road – it is what it is.

“It takes someone like me to go over and beat someone up doesn’t it? Because at the minute, the Americans are showing the Brits up rotten.

The Brits are running away scared and there’s only me who is saying; ‘Right, I’ll have to fight him!’.

“If I’m ready, I’m ready and if I’m not, I’m not.”
