We are on the same wavelength.

I posted somewhere earlier that if I am Al Haymon, I take a chunk of that 50M or 80M that AJ balked on and hand over a good chunk of it as guarantees for Wilder and Fury to meet in December.

Do it PPV in Vegas, give each guy 10 -15 guaranteed and a 50/50 split .

It would make Hearn shyt himself.

The only other thing I can think of is they're attempting to show Wilder he has no bargaining power and to just take a deal they're maybe working on for April (which I thought he ended up doing the first time?). Really thought Eddie was going to be that cat that comes in and makes the fights, but he's going straight Bob Arum.
I think he's trying to put him in a corner by covering every option. He's also offered to pay him for a 'gimme' fight with April secured. It's all on Wilder to make his next move.

So Hearn making this big offer where the fight will be on DAZN I'm assuming? Yeah, that's not happening.

Thats not the point. Getting more than double his career high payday for a fight that should be fairly easy is hardly jumping through hoops. AJ already has a fight lined up. You make it sound like Wilder should just wait for him

AJ already has a fight in September. So you wan't Wilder to sit on the sidelines? Why not collect this 10 mil instead of sitting around collecting ring rust?

I just want to put this out there so folks don't get in their feelings when this "offer" falls apart too.

If Hearn insists the the fight has to be on DAZN, we will know the offer isn't serious.

He won't even put AJ on DAZN in Britain; they just re-upped with Sky Sports.

If the business model isn't good enough for AJ, it damn sure won't be for Deontay.

On the face of it, the fight would make sense for both parties. Wilder's Q rating among Brit fans increases a little bit with a W over Whyte which then leads to the matchup with AJ in Wembley in April. Hearn squeezes another payday out of Whyte and if Dyllian somehow wins he still has a huge matchup in April for AJ. From what I've seen, I'd guess for Wilder to spark him out around round 4 or 5.

As some other posters have stated, it all depends on how that contract is constructed and if it means Wilder gives up a number of concession for the April fight provided he wins.

I'd like to see the fight but I doubt Wilder signs. Fingers crossed.

If Wilder vs Joshua is not gonna happen, It really should be Whyte or Chisora........... Come on Wilder, I'm rooting for you. Stay active, and fight the dudes within the top 5 in the world

I don't know what's really going on with these negotiations, and it doesn't look great on either party, but, to give Eddie his due, this will introduce Wilder to a larger UK audience, which is where most of the ££££ will be coming from.

Because other than Non Stop Ortiz Is The Second Coming Boxing, no one really gives a **** about Wilder, do they? Just being honest... the guy couldn't sell out a phone booth. Business.
