Why is Spence given a pass for being a colossal weight bully?

He walks around at the same weight many welters do. He is just that big and powerful for the weight.

Is he a weight bully? Sure. Is he good? Sure. The combination of being a weight bully and skilled had made everyone running away from him. I mean who likes to fight a Bear or Gorilla in the wilds alone? My guess is Mikey Garcia. ^_^

as long as he can comfortably make weight, I see no problem. I DO have a problem with him fighting Mikey though. The public is going to chew him out for this.

Nobody else wants to fight Spence at welter. I bet even his mandatory gotta be like *****! He reminds me of Tito Trinidad. Huge welterweight

He'll be struggling to make weight in no time doe, don't worry.
Did you see how fat he is last night?
Soon he'll be forced to fight his own size like Hurd, Charlo, Lara, etc.
There's also Mungia, another fight with Brook, Smith, etc.

Because weight bully is a ****** expression. There is no such thing as a weight bully. That's just something some fans made up to trash successful boxers like Spence and Hurd. Spence is a natural welterweight who makes the limit with ease and only weighed 156 on fight night his last fight. Even Crawford weighed 157 on fight night against Horn. Lots of welterweights weigh much more than Spence when they enter the ring. Spence knocks everybody out because he is the best, hardest hitting and most skilled welterweight not because he is the heaviest. I don't like the rules of weighing in 32 hours before the fight. I liked the same day weigh in rules.But those are the rules we have today. If any champion makes the class weight limit for the weigh in then he has cheated or bullied nobody. The rules are the same for all boxers. No boxer has some strange ability to cut huge amounts of weight and put all that weight back on in 32 hours without hurting and weakening themselves. If Spence was not a true welterweight and too big for the weight class he would weaken himself. He only gains a 9 or 10 pounds after the weigh in and since he knocks everybody out he is clearly not weak. Better get used to Spence being the best welterweight in world. Call him a weight bully if it makes you feel better but it isn't true.

He doesn't balloon up with fat like Ricky Hatton. he gets big but looks toned and defined as well.

Mikey Garcia will get his intestines beat out of him. but hey... dare to be great.

I agree. It shouldn't have to be this way but he has no other options other than move up to 154. He's doing this because the elite guys in the welterweight division won't step up and challenge him. They have been ducking and avoiding Spence for several years now.
