Crawford and Danny only fought twice and are tied 1-1 in amateur bouts. Get your facts straight. Danny's power and toughness brings way more to the table than anything Mikey could provide at 147. Mikey cant punch at 140 and most likely less at 147. He is smaller than Crawford. He is not a better boxer than Crawford. He got dominated in the amateurs and would get stopped by Crawford in the pros. Danny has a punchers chance against Crawford.

I'm just trying to understand why he's "such" a favorite against Mikey. I don't see it at all. I think that's a 50/50 fight if it ever happens.

Mikey Garcia's offense consists of jab, right hand repeated over and over. Have you watched a lot of his fights. He admits himself that he doesn't body punch(would have stopped Easter if he did). Crawford took away Postol's jab a guy way taller with longer reach than Garcia. Try to downplay Postol's boxing if you want but at his best he is better than Lipinets a guy Garcia struggled with. He got hit a lot to the head and body vs Lipinets. Lipinets is the reason he moved back down talking how he is disadvantaged at 140. He couldn't hurt Lipinets and took more punishment than he was accustomed. Imagine Garcia fighting a guy with a reach advantage like Easter but this guy can throw all the different punches well from southpaw or orthodox, throws hard with sneaky shots to the body, is naturally bigger, and has shown he can stop and hurt guys a lot larger than Mikey. That's a fight with Crawford and its a fight he cant win.
