Miley has nothing to lose calling out Spence. If he happens to win (more than likely he won't) he would instantly be considered an ATG. If he loses, everyone will say he as too small. In fact, I'm sure Spence will get called out for fighting a much smaller guy. Even if the fight doesn't get made, Mikey gets credit for wanting to fight the best.

Incidentally, I think the Lomachenko fight got a lot more interesting after last night.

This wont be the first time a 135lber jumped up to 147 and wont be the last. the historical aspect here is the quality of the WW Mikey wants. its the equivalent of Spence himself moving up to 160 for GGG with no "acclimation" process at the new division.

It is Brook/GGG all over again.

Actually its worse than that .. because Spence by his own admission is a weight bully who belongs in a higher division. Brook was the same way so when he faced Golovkin it wasn't a huge size disparity.

but here you have a tiny 135lber in Mikey vs an oversized WW who most likely belongs at JMW right now in Spence.

Of course Mikey has a fireproof excuse ready to go. That being the size difference. But that doesn't mean it is a risk free fight for him. Brook left the ring vs Golovkin with shattered bones in his face.

If Spence takes this bout he will attack Mikey with intent never seen before to make him respect weight divisions. Golovkin took a similar approach vs Brook, trying to knock his head off as soon as the bell rang.

Fighters like Danny, Porter and Thurman should all be feeling like some coward hoes right about now.

this fight should be very easy to make. no excuses from mikey if this fight doesnt happen since he brought this upon himself, when nobody was even calling for this match up.

even at this stage, manny beats him. mikey is too stationary and is a low punch output fighter with no movements. power is overrated too. it'll be similar to the lucas fight where mikey's punches will not have much affect on pac but pac's punches will be hurting mikey.
