I am a fan of Garcia, however Spence is my favorite fighter today. It would be hard to root against Garcia if this fight were to take place. I think Mikey has no place fighting Spence.. but if the fight did happen, you gotta respect Garcia for have the honor in taking on Spence. Other dudes at 147 won't even want anything to do with Spence.

Mikey is not the first guy in history to leap two divisions and face a WW. and he won't be the last. the big deal here is the quality of the WW he wants. that'll be historic. that's like Spence himself jumping up to 160 and facing GGG.

I believe Mikey is dead serious. but he also knows he has a ready made excuse if he loses. That means Spence is in a lose-lose scenario. he gets ZERO credit for winning and would make history (in a bad way) if he loses.

I truly believe Garcia is serious about fighting Spence at 147. I think he sees something exploitable that others don't in Spence's style.

Spence definitely has holes that a guy of Mikey's talent could exploit. However, Mikey just doesn't have the size to do it. Spence is able to get away with leaving himself open and such because he can overpower everyone he's faced at WW. Mikey is just too damn small.

Mikey has talked a ton of crap but this is the first time he calls out a fighter like this on public TV. Would look absolutely foolish if he's merely selling wolf tickets again.

Hes been extremely adamant about a spence fight. I highly doubt he is BS'ing. Lets see if it gets signed in the months to come...
