Are we going to forget how awful Ortiz looked against Malik Scott and David Allen?

Don't get me wrong, Ortiz is good, and I would rate him as a top 5 HW, but he's not the consensus no.3 guy. Not when Povetkin and Pulev (who have only lost to Klitschko), are still doing work.
Mike Perez admitted to coming into the ring drunk vs Pedvetkin, you can't really count that win

“I’d train hard but then I’d go home to my apartment and drink,” he admits. “I did that for the whole camp before the fight. When I got knocked down in the first round, I didn’t even care.”

Robert Garcia also talked about how bad he looked when Perez showed up to their gym, they did not want to train him because they said he'd make them look bad but they took him up anyways.

Pedvetkin has like 1 other 1st round KO the rest of his entire career, he hasn't been able to put guys like he used to especially after his PED bust.

Pulev? He looked very average vs Tony Thompson in a 116-112 type fight, Ortiz on the other hand a dominating stoppage.

Luis Ortiz literally shut David Allen & Malik Scott out but he some how looked bad? Right now he just ended a guy in 2 that Parker went the distance with.

I see it as Wilder, Ortiz, AJ as the three best in that very order.
Ortiz the more skilled but Wilder has his number, Ortiz stops AJ as does Wilder.

Povetkin imo is a level below all the above probably stop him.

Whyte, Chisora, Parker, Jennings all about even and a level below Povetkin.
Takam a level below those and really declining.

Ortiz has still yet to beat anybody.

'Was'. He's beaten no-one in recent years, knocking out some bum last night really doesn't prove much. If you're gonna use triangle theories, Chisora knocked out Scott in 1 round so guess he's way better than Ortiz in your eyes.

Ortiz is the 3rd best HW hands down ( depending how Fury progresses) and probablynthe most skilled

No because he’s widely recognized as the most skilled

Been avoided by most of the big names for years

And with the exception of wilder he’s beat down every one he’s faced

If Ortiz isn’t 3rd then who is ?
