Joshua was the biggest loser tonight, unfortunately. Takam loses to a now journeyman in Chisora. Parker and Whyte look like club fighters slugging it out. I like AJ best, but looking at the Whyte fight where he was hurt, then the Takam and Parker fights where he put on snoozers—it looks like he feels he’s chinny his own self and doesn’t want to fight like he’s credited for.

Parker peaked against Takam, Whyte is getting steadily better, a fight with Whyte vs Takam would be a great weather gauge at this point, all action affair.

Agree with a lot of this except that 1) I don’t think Ortiz has the power to hurt him.
2) Wilder would get roughed up, unsettled and possibly KO’d. Admittedly, that would be an intriguing fight but I doubt Wilder wants it so it’s all conjecture.
3) I think he’ll give Anthony Joshua a torrid time next time out and I can see it lasting into the late round so or else going to the judges.

1. Ortiz definitely has the power to hurt Whyte, and more importantly he's a sharp shooting counter puncher so he can rock Whyte when he gets wild. Look at the counter he landed to hurt Wilder.

2. Whyte doesn't have a good gas tank and is open to the right hand. Wilder is quicker with a very effective jab and he ices Whyte point blank. Whyte could try to rough him up as that will be his best bet, but he's getting hurt in that fight.

3. Don't see it at all. Joshua was beating the crap out of Whyte before getting countered in the 2nd round and aside from the end of that round and the first part of round three, Joshua completely dominated him. If Joshua is more careful and disciplined, he won't get hit with a shot like that and just pick Whyte off from the outside. Joshua stops him in 6 or 7.

Team New Zealand welcome to The United Kingdom. Fighting in the UK is a lot harder than the taxi drivers, bus drivers and nightclub bouncers Parker has become accustomed to back in NZ. I believe this has been a great learning experience for Joseph Parker and he'll become a much better fighter because of it. I'd like to see him fight Big Baby Miller next.

Never said Ortiz was beatable. But you said Ortiz couldn't KO Allen until the 7th round? I mean that is still something Whyte couldn't do. Allen isn't very good, but he does have a good chin you have to give him that.

Ortiz definitely didn't look great against a guy who was moving around all fight. But he doesn't have to worry about that against Whyte.

But yes, HW division is certainly mediocre. Usyk will make it better though.
