Yeah it sounds good but it won't happen against Margarito. The only thing I see Williams having over Margarito is height.

Matthysse was undefeated with 24KO's in 25 fights. This is the fight that I was impressed with Williams, because he proved he can take a great punch, Matthysse hit him with some bombs in this fight. Williams is a great offensive machine.

I also believe that The Punisher is the toughest fight for PBF.

People are 50/50 on how well Williams took a punch in that fight and I was one guy who was on the opposite side. Sure, Matthysse couldnt stop him but I still thought that he shook him a couple of times and Williams cant keep a great balance like some other lanky guys I have seen. Forrest isnt as tall but has great balance. Williams at times wobbled around the ring when the dude hit him. I think Margarito puts him to sleep because of that. Maybe not later on but Williams isnt ready yet.

I also caught something in his post fight interview that no one talked about. He definatly wanted a Margarito fight so you know he's not scared of him but he also said "Margarito's a bad boy and believe me, I know about those uppercuts" and then he said something like "but I can still take him".

Still, going by what he says makes me think that Margarito was killing him with Uppercuts in sparring

i've always said margarito will be the last man standing at welterweight and mayweather wil lose to margarito and no!, throwing a billion punchs at mayweather is not the only way to beat him. counter mayweather as margarito can do is also why margarito can defeat mayweather. the best chance mayweather gave himself is signing to fight margarito this year - well not yet, but im assuming he will

Nah man, I wouldnt do that. If I was going to do that then I wouldve did it for a guy like Gatti but I knew he would get killed and wasnt on Floyd's level.

I was watching alot of tapes this past week for some reason and you almost forget how good some guys were. I forgot how fast Tito's hands were and how much snap he had in his punches, I forgot about how much skill a prime Vargas had, watching a old Lennox fight makes these HW's look pathetic, I miss watching Sweet Pea's awesome defense, it was weird to see how perfect and cut Oscar's body was when he fought Sweet Pea at 147, and I also was impressed by Margarito.

His punch can literaly hold your body there until the next one comes

I dont know if I would bet because I wouldnt be upset if Williams won. I love slick boxers like him and then you add to that his height and punching ability. I wouldnt mind seeing him go on and being one of the top guys in the sport. I think he's something different and "could" be special but I just dont trust his balance as of yet and alot of the stuff that gave Mathysee problems was Williams height and long arms. He wont have a huge advantage in that against Margarito

Matthysse is shorter not smaller. I never saw Williams being badly hurt in that fight, considering that Matthysse hits very hard. The Punisher can take a great punch.
