Loma will never see 20-1. Beat by Salido, dropped by Linares, and laid up with a shoulder injury that most people never recover from 100%. It's hard to see him in the hall of fame with so little to show.

The winner of this fight will have two belts. That's more than any other lightweights have.

They can put Loma next to Archie Moore in the HOF. 12-1 next to 186-23-20, 132 KOs. He will fit right in.

I hope after snubbing Lomachenko like this that he agrees to fight him next.

Mikey showing bitterness and insecurity here. He knows full well the winner isn't the best at Lightweight. Loma is the man until proven otherwise. He beat the man that Mikey ducked.

bull****, but the winner has certainly earned a shot at fighting the best lightweight.

jesus mikey has somehow caught the de la hoya/arum virus which makes dumb **** come out of ur mouth when it opens.

Bitterness and insecurity is exactly what it is. This talk makes me think he wants to duck Lomachenko. He wants to declare himself something without earning it.

Mikey is a hypejob. Gets schooled at 135 by Lomo. Gets destroyed by Crawford or Spence at 147. He should move up to 140 after this and fight mediocre opponents to keep his 0.

With the way Mikey avoids talk about a Loma fight, it does seem he'd rather swerve that fight. But we'll see.

He hadn’t lost for 6 years do you honestly not believe in the concept of improvement? Linares and Garcia were consensus 1 & 2. Loma beat Jorge so he’s one of the top two now in most reasonable people’s eyes. Answer me this question who would win right now loma or salido? It doesn’t matter if he beat him in his second pro fight.

For the record I actually think Garcia beats Lomachenko. It’s a fight I really want to see. That will give us a definitive answer as to who the number 1 in the division is.
