Comments Thread For: Conor Benn: I Need To Prove I'm a Level Above Peynaud

CONOR BENN has vowed never to overlook an opponent again after his career almost came crashing down against . The rising welterweight star had to pick himself off the canvas twice when he faced the unknown Frenchman last year. Benn, 21, recovered to floor Peynaud twice but could only earn a controversial points decision in the fight, only a few weeks after a routine win in New York.

    Conor Benn is TRASH!

How Pathetic! What will the rematch prove? A Level above Cedrick Peynaud probably will get Conor Benn classified as a British club-fighter. Conor Benn you proved you are your fathers son by your dreadful defense and sloppy swinging! You suck!

Conor Benn barely made it out of the first round against the bum Frenchman with only 4 KO's -- Peynaud had 3 KO's at the time the Frenchy first met Benn.

How much has Eddie paid Peynaud to come back and help re-establish Benn's rep? I'm sure Peynaud will make more for taking a dive tonight than he would for beating Benn anyway tbf.

Two club fighters with no bright future on an undercard, nothing to see here...

Benn has a way to go before he's ready even for gatekeepers. He'll have a tough time making an impression at welterweight.

lot of hate being said but its kind of true he looks far from anything special and someone who is going straight to the top but the kids only 21 he might improve more than anyone expects over the next few years

hopefully he wrecks this guy second time round
