The disrespect that boxers get from the "Fans" of this sport is worrying.

      Can't agree with that.

Brook was largely unproven... 1 good win in a 10+ year career. Add on top of that the damage he took from GGG and then draining from 160lbs to 147lbs, it's not that great of a win. It put Spence up near the top, but not at the top.

Peterson has been pretty hit or miss his whole career. Fighting Danny was a hit, Spence wasn't. It was a good win, but Spence still needs more than that to surpass Thurman.

If Spence fought and beat DSG, Porter, or Crawford I'd put him above Keith in rankings, but I'd still think he needs to fight Keith to really be #1. I think a healthy motivated Keith beats Spence though.

Pac better steer away from him. The punches Danny ate in the earlier rounds would put him to sleep at this point of his career. Prime Manny could eat it em up

Dude still have a pulse. He’d probably lose the earlier rounds to Manny due to rust, but catches him with something big later

I'm too lazy now but i can link old threads to people saying Brook was gonna beat Spence the new Jeff Lacy hypejob. even with the GGG loss Brook was still recognized as the best welter. put it like this the Kell Brook that loss to Erroll i would pick that same Brook to beat Thurman, Danny and Porter. thats how good he was that night. Spence was just better and beat the confidence from him.

Keith's wins over Danny and Porter were so razor thin nobody would complain had those decisions gone the other way. like i said he pretty much owe them both a rematch.

and I'm sorry but i don't see Thurman smoking out Peterson the way Spence did. Danny in his prediction for the fight said Peterson was no joke and its a 50-50 clash. but Spence just can crushed him in a one sided clinic. thats a huge statement.

when Thurman was active i had him #1 at WW based on names on his resume. but due to his inactivity and the way Spence is destroying everybody you have to drop Keith a few notches down. Spence is not having debateable decisions and he owes nobody a rematch.

The Porter fight was close, but the VAST majority of people had Thurman winning, check the post-fight polls. The Garcia fight was competitive but not close. He doesn't owe either one of them anything, he beat them fair and square, so had they got the decision, I'm sure normal, neutral boxing fans would've had something to say.

The constant downplaying is funny tho

Lopez is a solid comeback fight.

Then jump straight in with Spence.
