Lol at you people defending Golovkin, but not Wilder. Since they're in the same boat, it proves that you have a racial bias.

Geale, Monroe,Murray, Lemieux, Rubio and others were rated in the top 10 when he knocked them out. Just because he beat them so easily doesn't mean they weren't rated in the top 10 when he fought them. Murray and Lemieux are in the top ten right now. GGG has faced the two best middleweights in the world in Jacobs and Canelo. How many champions fighting today have defended their title against the two best fighters in their weight class. GGG would also have KO wins over Cotto, Martinez, Saunders and Eubank had they all not flat refused to fight him. Name one middleweight fighting today who has defeated more or better middleweights than GGG you ***ing hateful moron. I don't care what you say about Wilder. He is guilty of deliberate cherry picking most of his career until finally fighting a worthy challenger in Ortiz. But GGG is a fine champion better than any champion you are praising. Yes he cherry picked an easy fight against Vanes to stay fresh and unhurt for Canelo but all the champs take an easy fight now and then. He fought Jacobs and Canelo back to back and he is fighting Canelo again. He defends his titles twice as often as most of today's champions. You are a ******, hateful, lying POS poster who has no idea what a good champion is or isn't or know anything about boxing at all.
You said it yourself. Lemieux, Monroe, Geale, Rubio, etc. Complete and utter ****. It doesn't matter if they were in the top 10 if the top 10 completely sucks. Golovkin has probably reigned through the weakest middleweight era in a long time... The only good opponents available were Jacobs and Saunders. Oh, and 168 lbs was full of worthy opponents, but yeah, those 8 pounds means soo much... McGregor has moved up two weight divisions, each one seperated by 10 pounds, lol. Boxers are so ****ing feminine with their divaweight bull*****... How can I recognize Golovkin as a true champion when he insists on fighting in such a weak division?

Yeah, I know that their best wins are an old man and Pirog's leftover... So, it took both 10+ years of facing tomato cans until they fought someone good.

If you wanted to be generous to both of them, by saying when they fought a half-good opponent for the first time, you could say Wilder fought Stiverne in 2015 and Golovkin fought Brook in 2016... That still wouldn't be an excuse for anything.

How come Wilder and Golovkin get so much hype when they spent 10+ years of their career doing basically nothing? How can people seriously support such "fighters"?
Really have to work on building up first what your trying to tear down....

Failing grade when it comes to the troll attempt.

True. There is basically no difference in the quality of opponents that Golovkin and Wilder have fought. Golovkin's merely had the number "top 10" attached to them, but in such a weak division, it might as well have been "top 50" quality in most other divisions.

The two of them had the same problem with weak divisions and the few good fighters that appeared didn't want to fight them as they are high risk low reward

And now we know what the point of this thread is. You were just looking for an excuse to bring up racial bias.

                      Anyway...

Golovkin was poorly managed initially. Nobody knew who the hell he was until he was 30. Competition was scarce for a while and he was avoided by some of the top fighters. Jacobs didn't seem too enthusiastic about fighting Golovkin until after the Brook fight and Saunders has ducked everyone. Only recently did the division heat up.

I haven't followed Wilder's career that closely. I don't if he was avoided or he avoided certain fights. He was gonna fight Wladimir but he unexpectedly lost to Fury, then Fury decided to party for three years straight and blame it on fake injuries. Povetkin got caught cheating.

Not fair to call them pathetic.
