James Toney looked exactly the same against Roy as he did in any other fight. People have this idea that he was some unstoppable killer that walked drained into that fight and it was some kind of anomaly. I get it, I used to be under the same impression. Toney is one of those guys who has a mythological reputation completely contradictory to his actual in-ring results.
That was the exact same James Toney as always. Roy was just better than the other types of fighters who gave Toney trouble or arguably beat him before that.
