I've never seen Porter stand and trade with anyone. He bum rushes his opponent with his head, and then stays too close for any clean shots. Then whenever they get broken up, Porter just rushes back in trying for a ko with a headbutt. If Danny tries to stand and trade headbutts with Porter, he will lose. If Porter actually tries to trade punches, Danny will time him and drop him. But Porter won't do that. He never has and he sure isn't going to for the first time against a counter-puncher with excellent timing and decent power.

I'm pretty sure that Danny is preparing himself for all of Porters tactics because he knows once he steps inside that ring Shawn Showtime Porter is bringing it 120 mph nonstop.Comment

Irrelevant post!!! Too many exclamation points make any statement irrelevant!!! Welterweight is one word!!!! Nor is only used with the word neither!!!! Should be "on the talent level with"!! So many mistakes in such a short post!!!!Comment

Porter should avoid trading with Danny, that's Swift's bread and butter. He can either get close and suffocate, outwork Danny or he can keep his distance and use his better feet and athleticism to outpoint from angles. I see Porter using his jab very effectively in this fightComment

Irrelevant fight? You mentioned two of the pound for pound best in Spence and Crawford. Is everyone else a bum? Boxing isn't just about the elite. These two dudes have earned their place. I will be attending and hope the undercard is stacked. Lou D. usually does the right thing by the fans. Here's hoping for a great tilt!Comment

This dude will come in recklessly like he does in every fight, which plays perfectly into Danny's gameplan. Danny is the best counter puncher in the division and he'll show that in this fight.Comment

He is a terrible boxer I haven't seen a more visually unappealing style since John Ruiz.I've never seen Porter stand and trade with anyone. If Danny tries to stand and trade headbutts with Porter, he will lose. If Porter actually tries to trade punches, Danny will time him and drop him. But Porter won't do that. We shall see if Danny can handle the pressure, he wasn't looking all that relaxed when he had Rios all over him putting pressure on him.
I got Bud Crawford as the best counter-puncher in the divisionComment

The fight will probably be better than both of their abilities to sell it. Agree Danny’s style is all wrong for Porter.Comment
