    On Saturday night in Las Vegas, WBO super welterweight champion Jaime Munguia (30-0) passed his toughest test as a professional in his first title defense. Munguia defeated Liam Smith (26-2-1) via unanimous decision in an HBO main event and while he landed several big shots, he took his fair share as well.

    Great! A voluntary defense vs margarito in tj. With a rematch clause, just in case, he'll make a ton of money and then hell be able to take on hurd, charlo or lara.

          This kid is rapidly becoming a crowd favorite. He is out fighting while so many others are sitting around hoping for big paydays to drop in their laps.

          I am cheering for him. He is doing it the right way and earning the right to be an elite "A" side fighter. Hope he gets there.

                  If Hearn could get Mungo into Sheffield, Brook has more than a shot. Anywhere else and Brook might get stopped on eye damage before he can run up the score. In Sheffield Brook puts on an early offensive and plays keep away late. His skill would be like poison.
