Here is where we are historically and it is bigger than Joshua. The last lineal champion was Tyson Fury. Joshua doesn't get to be the man in the division for repeating Fury's feat. Wlad Klit fought bums for a decade to hold his title belt

Wlad the Klit avoided tough opponents for over a decade in a weak Heavy division anyway to keep his belts. Wlad threw the Fury fight and then got demolished by the young Joshua via KO and QUIT.
