    Comments Thread For: Canelo: GGG Talking PEDs as Excuse - He Knows He Will Lose!

    Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KOs) believes middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (38-0-1, 34 KOs) is continuing to bring up the failed drug tests in order to create an excuse for their upcoming rematch. The two boxers fought to a controversial twelve round split draw in September 2017. They meet for a second time for Golovkin's WBA, WBC, IBO world titles on September 15th at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

      Its not an excuse. I don't get when boxers fail drug test and them and their fanatics blame the other guy.

        It's understandable for people to have unpleasant words to proven known drug cheats. GGG has the right to criticize Nelo.

          One takes a performance enhancing drug that is banned, the guy who didn't use a banned substance that improves performance complains. The innocent one who is complaining is the bad guy.

          Was never really a fan of GGG, nor of Canelo, but I had neutral opinions of them both. Now I can't stand Canelo.

          If you get caught cheating, you have a few options;
          A: Admit you cheated
          B: Proclaim innocence
          C(len): Proclaim innocence while never shutting the f&*k up about your opponent and badmouthing them, even though they have the right to question why you had banned substances in your system in the first place, thus making yourself out to be the biggest red-headed douche in the world.

          It seems Canelo took option C(len), he is like the Jon Jones of boxing. Can't stand cheaters who try and take the moral highground and go on the attack as if they are the victims, and not their opponents who were fucced over. Scumbags

            On top of everything, Canelo has the face of a rather ****** person.

                If you ask me Canelo should just not talk at all between now and the fight. Anything he tries to say just makes him look worse. The only way he'll win back respect is a convincing, controversy-free win.

                    Considering he is innocent Canelo seems to believe he knows what drugs are steroids and what drugs aren't? - He also happens to be wrong on this occasion, Clen is a steroid!
