Canelo used to train out the wazoo with advanced methods and would still gas a few years ago prior to his "metamorphosis" in physical stature, when increased power came and stamina issues left. If the prior leaves and the latter returns (gratitude to VADA), he'll have some issues by the 8th or 9th round with a guy like Golovkin that just walks you down, wearing you out mentally and physically, always in your face.
He apparently cycled off about a week too late last time prior to the normal 2 month out testing, and now VADA has supposedly had him testing 4 months out (and year round now) for this one, so he'd be crazy to try to mask or take something, meaning he should be clean. The year layoff and ring rust is also a very real thing for anyone, even of that age-- B-Hop spoke of it on "The Fight Game" 2 months ago.
