, he needs to stay away from Crawford and Spence at this point.
Lomachenko ias a small guy who wont have any power at 140. He could outbox Manny and win a decision for sure but Manny would actually be the bigger guy in there for the first time in about 12 years. I don't see it as a mismatch at all, if anything Manny has a bunch of advantages going in.

Poor article with a lot of confrontational and unnecessary language, even for an opinion piece. Describing Matthysse as a "fraudulent" champion is wording that's far too strong. The rest of the article reads like a fanboy post on NSB, just written somewhat more eloquently. I agree that Loma would be a pretty big favourite in that fight, but Pacquiao is a solid welterweight while Loma only just hit lightweight, so even with Loma being taller Pacquiao would be a lot more solid and strongly built. I still think Lomachenko would win but it's not a contest I'd rule Pacquiao out of like the article implies.

        137.5 is the right catch-weight. +- 0.5 lbs maybe

I don't want to see Pac below 140.

At 140, Lomachenko vs Pacman is a fascinating match up.

I'd take a prime Pacman over Spence or Crawford but today's Pacman is much better served avoiding those beasts. Small, light punching Lomachenko is intriguing as an opponent.

The article didn't make the case as to why he shouldn't fight Lomachenko. I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that Lomachenko would win. If Lomachenko is so much better than Pacquiao he should win but I don't think he would beat him to a pulp. I think the fight would be a great fight for both. I think Pacquiao would be able to hang win or lose. A victory over Pacquiao would solidify Lomachenko as #1 P4P without a doubt.

It sounds like the writer just doesn't want to see Pacquiao embarrassed by Lomachenko. Alot of great fighter had embarrasing fights against lesser fighters than Lomachenko so I don't see why this would be such a big deal.

I'm not sure what the big deal is about Pac making 135. They claim he has to eat 6 meals a day to even get to 145 or 146, not cutting a pound. He could make it.

DLH made weight for him, but now the shoe is on the other foot we hear all this poor Manny BS. Pac got full credit beating up a dehydrated shot DLH too, even though Victor Ortiz and Edwin Valero beat the crap out of DLH in sparring.

If you don't want the fight at 135, then stay at 147 and fight someone there. Plenty of guys available. Khan, Spence, Crawford, to mention a few.

                The Boxing Truth

Can anyone right about boxing in the boxingscene? Damn who is this writer? Wake up and apologize? I hope God demolishes this writer and never wake up again while sleeping before Pac destroys Loma. I'm so upset. Please boxingscene just filter your writers.

The "Wake up and apologize" was an old saying that originally came from Ali if I remember right. ****** analogy though.

If the fight isn't happening at 135lbs for loma then pac should fight crawford at 147 and i will still favor pac to beat crawford.

I have a feeling that Loma would outdone Pac in everything even at 147, let alone <140. Size matters but quickness, timing and skill matters more.
