What would happen if Gvozdyk KO's Adonis and becomes p4p #3? That would be 3 Ukraine fighters taking the top 3 p4p spots all at one time. Would Lomachenko's Dad be the best trainer ever since he had to train him at some point? Would the boxing world itself implode?

I’m not sure about all three top 3 p4p but this place would go nuts I’m sure and the hate would intensify. Loma is getting less and less regarded by the day the more and more he proves haters wrong I’m sure Usyk will start to be terrible too soon and once Gvozdyk is more known he too could be hated by certain fans. -
The Ukrainian Express takin' over!
Well, a win over Stevenson wouldn't put Gvodzdyk at 3. It might not even put him p4p since Stevenson isn't p4p. But a win over Adonis does make Papa Loma look great indeed. Regardless of p4p, Loma and usyk are making history. The Nail may get there too but a win over Stevenson is a must. We'll see what he's made of then.

I already think Loma's dad is the best trainer alive, but I don't see how Gvodzyk koing Stevenson would make him top 3 when nobody is ranking Stevenson right now.
With that being said, nothing wrong with a new school coming in. That's great for boxing. I hope Americans are taking notes, because the Lomachenko school of boxing is the best one at the moment and they can't afford to ignore it. I even saw the big Charlo starting to incorporate the side step as part of his arsenal. Maybe they'll have to start learning Ukrainian folk dance if they want to keep upComment

Also I very much like good boxers getting their due. Loma and Usyk are good fighters and would not have been blown out by greats of the past. That's what separates them...unlike the Wilder's/Joshua's/Golkvin's of boxing. Those guys are good fighters today, but have little chance of being successful against greats of their division in the pastComment

You seem to have already decided if he KOs Steveson he jumps to number 3 pfp. I doubt many would place him so high for that. I have never seen Stevenson on anybody's top 10 best pfp list. He rarely fights and when he does it's usually against weak opposition. He looked very beatable in his draw with Jack and I think he is 41 years old.Comment
