How good is Robert Easter Jr?

He is a great champion, one of the top champions of the sport. Alot of people are be-littling him to belittle Mikey. Mikey is just levels above every World Champion out right now.Comment

Not very good IMO. He’s young and his best days are already behind him. If he wins another title for the rest of his career I’d be surprised.Comment

i remember when he first appear before winning the belt the dude seemed to be a big puncher. now he can't stop small super featherweights like fortuna or shafikovComment

I think he's got the potential to be really good, but he has the habit of fighting counter to his tools, which puts him in a rough spot against a guy like Mikey.
It was said earlier, but this'll be on Kevin Cunningham; if he can convince Easter Jr to fight long and sharpshoot from range, he's got a chance. If he pulls even a Broner (where Broner kinda listened to Cunningham, but it happened to late in the fight to close the gap), Easter Jr loses a wide decision, probably even walking onto a shot in the mid-rounds and getting put to sleep.Comment

I don't think he is very good for a world champion. I think he should have lost his last fight although he got the win. He fights tall and uses his reach. Just being tall and having a long reach isn't much advantage at the championship level. If it were the champs would all be tall thin guys with long arms and clearly they aren't. I think Mikey will have no problem hitting him hard and often,I don't know that much about him (I guess I need to check him out on youtube)
On paper Garcia is a big favorite and most would pick Garcia to win comfortably, but Easter is quite tall for his weight class. I'm thinking a lightweight who's almost 6 feet tall should be dangerous for anyone.
Does he fight tall? Does he use his height and reach advantage?Comment
