Considering Gassiev was dispirited already in the 6th...

Gassiev probably landed the best couple of punches in the fight. There was a left hook at the end of the 4th which clearly stunned Usyk and he did some other nice work here and there. It looked like he could get to Usyk without too much trouble but he just didn't throw them hands enough and make it a war at any point. I was disappointed in Gassiev. Expected a bit more.

No shame in losing to Usyk, he’s the best in world. Gassiev is young and will get better, Usyk flight a great fight and has now fought better competition than Loma. Usyk is a tremendous talent with a great run ahead of him

If this was a 15-rounder, Gassiev would fall down dead

I'm starting to think that Gassiev is not bad enough to be a real killer. He knows he has power, and uses it when the occasion arises. But deep down in his heart he's too much of a good guy.

This fight clearly showed that he's a whole level below Usyk.

PS to add to your all-time Khan list: jazz guitarist Steve Khan (and a brilliant one, too).
