If landing 89 total punches in a HW championship bout is playing around thenid like to see the definition of goofing off. Let that sink in a moment...89...total punches in 12 rounds. Fury has never been prime and if he ever was considered prime it would have been when he was a prospect and prospect are always expected to take out their garbage and be in prime shape. Fury is never coming back and never reliving his old glories as when he was a prospect just like I had to live with the fact that when King got rid of Rooney and filled his corner with last week’s trainer trash that Mike Tyson was never coming back. As Grandpa said ***** in one hand and wish in another and see which fills first

Wilder has a contract to fight Joshua. If he doesn't sign it, Joshua has to fight someone else.

He is definitely overrated by the WBC that's for sure

I'm starting to think that Joshua and Hearn are trolling the Wilder's fans but there's more going on in boxing than Joshua vs Povetkin because Joshua can't do anything until he passes that defense first.

Why would he sign a contract to fight Joshua before he beats Povetkin? If Joshua loses to Povetkin, Wilder won't GAF about Joshua after that.

Enough of this contract bull****e. Let me give to you one of the more educated quotes on this site.

“No champion (with a belt) should sign a completely one-sided contract for a championship fight. Nor should they sign a contract with pertinent info left out (re: date of event; location of event).

A-side/B-side nonsense don't matter. A championship fight that is gonna draw world attention should be fair and equitable to both fighters - period. The AJ/Hearn nonsense was none of that ... it really is mindless for anyone to insist that a champion fighter should accept any old contract with any kind of blatant unfair and demeaning conditions in it. If a fighter CHOOSES to sign it (for their own reasons) okay, fine ... he signed a bad deal (knowingly by choice). But, if they choose to pass honestly we should all applaud. As fans we should want championship fights to be good deals for the fighters. No fan should be mouthing about a fighters skill, heart, or desire based on said fighter not signing a bullsheet contract. That would be a fan-girl talking. Not a fan, nor an educated adult.

As educated adults, and fight fans, we should want every fighter to get a fair contract, based on the risks and inevitable damage fighters suffer doing their craft.

I'm not anti-AJ or anyone else. But BS is BS. I never remember an opponent of Ali bringing a stinking contract to the public's attention as a complaint. They must have gotten a "reasonable" and decent contract for the time. That's called respecting your opponent, your trade, and ultimately yourself. Particularly in highly anticipated world event types of fights.

BS is BS ... all fans should call it like it is, no matter who you like. Only kids and ignorant people wear blinders when it comes to business (and "root" for their favs regardless) Fight fans want everyone to win and be well in the BUSINESS of the fight.”

He's a stone cold *****. And something tells me he doesn't want to fight big baby either.

interesting comment..im curious as to how many punches klitschko landed on him considering he was all the conquering heavyweight at the time. u may not like fury's style or are envious of his clear physical advantages but regardless hes a skillful boxer who remained undefeated and despite getting no credit for dethroning the king history cant be changed and it was indeed the gypsy king who did it..so saying he was never a great boxer just makes u look really really silly
