Nothing Sanchez could have said to prevent a complete washing of Gassiev. He did tell him to go for the KO in the last 3 rounds or so, but Gassiev wasn't even close to accomplishing that.

Go for the KO is a vague instruction as is saying go out there and kick his ass. You can't give instructions like that against a good technical fighter like Uysk
