Comments Thread For: Danny Garcia on Thurman Loss: They Didn't Want Me To Win

Danny Garcia (34-1, 20 KOs) is still angered over last year's defeat at the hands of Keith Thurman. They collided in March 2017, with Thurman winning a split decision to unify the WBC, WBA welterweight titles at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Keith Spanked him with one arm. After the Way Thurman has behaved in regards to Spence I don’t care for him but he whooped Danny but the last 3 rounds it was horrible to see skate around the ring and not want To engage but because Danny has the slowest feet in the game he was allowed to. It’s like having a dislocated shoulder for the last 3 rounds but your opponent is a tortoise so he is unable to capitalise.

Lol Danny Garcia talking about Gift decision. That S#hit is funny

based on how Thurman has behaved as a champ it would've been better for the sport had Danny won. Thurman lost both his balls and is now a punchline joke.

                  Well said

He is a diva that has been used to getting decisions that he probably shouldn’t have

I thought Keith won 116-112.. Very competitive fight but Danny absorbed the best punches.. He wasn't the one given them on a consistent basis. That being said, Danny took all the shots well and should be proud of a fight where he showed guts. His stock didn't really fall from this. He does need to move on and keep building... he still has lots of titles and huge fights left in him..
