Why would he have fought Whyte instead of Ortiz. The Wilder vs Whyte fight wasn't proposed until AFTER Wilder/Ortiz. Likely because the UK started to put Whyte back on a pedestal after his devastating KO of a Lucas Browne who looked like an old, hells angel in the middle of a relapse.

Nobody was calling for Whyte vs Wilder back when Whyte just went 12 rounds with Robert bloody Helenius

The fight was proposed long before Wilder/Ortiz got made. Ortiz fight didn't really change anything, got him respect from the hardcore fans, but that aint going to change anything when you have a couple of million Joshua fans that watch ****ing reality TV, and think hes the best boxer on the planet. Man you don't really understand until you go out in the UK and talk boxing with these fools, they think hes the best, got talking with one guy, mentioned Lomachenko and his face was confusion.

Good point. Bellew is highly ranked with a few orgs as well, gets him near title challenges, and is also a good tester at the new weight..... and good money.

Usyk would do well at the 02 and on PPV.

Both fighters want to face each other. It's just the promoters, money, mandatories and other squabbles getting in the way.

Hopefully Wilder will sign the contract for April and everyone can stop with the complaining and one-upping...
