I think they meant to say the fight took place in a FedEX store in Memphis. Harris got mad because Corley cut him in line and took the opportunity to avenge his loss in the ring.

Ive always liked Harris and i have a soft spot for him. I watched him coming up the ranks in the late 90s . He established himself as a player in the JWW division by the early 2ks. Even then he wasnt a household name but wasnt someone to be ignored in the division. He had the height, range, power, and he threw punches with mean intentions.

Around 05 if I remember correct, he was in line to face Floyd mayweather as the number 1 contender / mandatory, like i said i dont remember exactly but he chased Floyd.

He came close to getting a shot. All he had to do was beat Carlos Maussa on the Floyd-Gatti undercard and he failed miserably. He shot his load early and his fatigue beat him pretty much. Lol that bumass vacuum seller Maussa.

That loss totally killed his confidence and rest is history. Had he won that fight like he was supposed to, career would have been different.

That maussa fight is a perfect example of a fighter overlooking an opponent.

Harris has always been a legend in his own mind. Wouldn't be surprised if he starts calling now for a title fight.

He was never good and he is not the puncher that he claims that he is

The crowd just didn't seem very interested in this one.

Must have been bingo night at the home.

Harris was a one time hype job being pushed by HBO as some serious threat 140.

Corley in his prime schools him like he did past his prime before. Two washed up guys just fighting for a desperation check. Kind of sad actually.

These kind of matches are nothing but abuse of the elderly.
