He signed Jacobs to HBO and gave them a chance to sign Joshua.
HBO has a arrogance to them where they think whatever they put on is gold no matter the fighters. Its their brand not the fights and that’s just a disaster.

You have to be kidding me right? HBOs broadcasting of boxing is arguably the worst coverage of any sport on any station ever.

Max kellerman is bonafide moron who speaks like hes buffering. Jim lamply is the worst offender by a mile though. Hes a nut case. Hes cries on every broadcast aswell.

      Horrid service.

With HBO shorting the money the way they have, I'm not sure what you expected.

According to the emails released by Yvon Michel it was Nelson decision to allow Stevenson to go to Showtime & that was before the skinny budget. And Arum was also complaining about Nelson in 2015.

Yes HBO boxing sucks awfully bad these days. I am surprised that they are not off the air. Al Haymon and Eddie Hearn is where to go as far as the future of boxing is concerned.

HBO was cheap with Stevenson, but it's not like Arum wasn't selling garbage and calling it fillet mignon, lol.

Once Nelson saw what it was, he could've made better choices (hindsight is whatever, but abandoning Top Rank and simply choosing to rebuild around the Stevenson-Kovalev rivalry, Andre Ward, the Golovkin shakeout, and the lighter weights, would've given HBO a good fight schedule, with likely some money to still work with).

It would just rule to have RJJ as a commentator for more big fights.
