It's a great night for him but you have to wonder how long can Usyk continue to fight like that. The level of output and the conditioning it requires at CW is ****ing crazy. He's 31 now. Can he do that for another 2-3 years?

It's a huge ask. And I think he's a more volume dependent as a fighter than Loma is. Hard to see him sustaining that level for a long time, but as it stands he's as good a cruiserweight as I've seen in a long, long time as well.

Usyk put on a masterclass tonight, but such are the similarities with Loma I’m interested to know what the source is in this fighting style.
I was curious that too, they seem mirror images In many ways, right down to being southpaw.

I think Loma’s Dad is/was head coach for the Ukrainian national squad

Im curious what he can do at HW like alot of others here. He is smallish for the giants that are in the division now but not to the point of a big disadvantage. His skills are in another universe to every HW out there.

It's amazing. It's not just that he keeps the volume up, it's the execution and the alertness as well. Very unusual. I think it must have a lot to do with him not sitting down on many shots. He keeps things ticking over but doesn't waste any energy on big shots that aren't 100% on.

Not sure who I'd pick to beat Usyk at heavyweight even after that performance.

Gassiev could barely land a punch all night.

I'm certain nobody's going to be jumping at the opportunity to try.

Id like to see him go to HW but he wont be stopping many of them at the elite level. Bellew isnt elite obviously but I would imagine he makes the distance also. Usyk is smart as a mfer, he wont be going nuts for a stoppage.

If you haven’t seen it, Usyk vs Joe Joyce is on YouTube.

But wouldn't it still be a CW fight ? :P
