Garcia and Easter is still not on the schedule. There's definitely something going on, not sure exactly what though.

        Garcia easter on what schedule?

Neither are that big in the uk , and if fight is 3-5 am I can’t see anyone paying too much. I imagine box nation will pick it up

If true why in the world is the u.k. surprised. The whole wilder thing has broke a lot of relationships with the u.k.. The u.k. fans back any and everything that hearns say and even attacked showtime. American fight fans don't care as we never had a option for boxnation anyway.

So far only this card and the September 8 card featuring Garcia vs Porter.

What is also surprising is neither SHO nor ESPN+ picked up Whyte/Parker. Could that be because of DAZN that is launching soon and Matchroom not wanting to sell the fights rights to one of those networks, or those networks not wanting to invest for a lone fight when they won't get to air their next fight anyways?

Yeah I am sure Sky shareholder's would approve of that, Boxing is a small part of Sky's business. Boxing is a corrupt messed up little sport with terrible governing bodies. Do you know who Sky TV are try google really is helpful.

Hearn has absolutely no say whatsoever if Sky want to bid for an American fight and he has admitted as much in his interview regarding the while K2/ Hennessy split fiasco with IFL TV.

The only reason a showtime fight.. be it Garcia or anyone else aren't shown in the UK is because Sky don't think the outlay for the rights is equal to the viewership numbers.

Remember.. only very very small numbers in the UK who watch boxing on Sky are going to be aware of Garcia or his fights.. much less one that really bears very little relevance in the grand scheme of boxing sphere.
Well this...Showtime has never had an HBO style deal with any UK broadcaster, ever, as far as I know.

For a while HBO had a deal with the BBC (going back a while) and they have had several deals with Sky at various stages and ofc Boxnation now I think.
