Enough of this pay garbage *****

Enough of this contract bull****e. Let me give to you one of the more educated quotes on this site.

“No champion (with a belt) should sign a completely one-sided contract for a championship fight. Nor should they sign a contract with pertinent info left out (re: date of event; location of event).

A-side/B-side nonsense don't matter. A championship fight that is gonna draw world attention should be fair and equitable to both fighters - period. The AJ/Hearn nonsense was none of that ... it really is mindless for anyone to insist that a champion fighter should accept any old contract with any kind of blatant unfair and demeaning conditions in it. If a fighter CHOOSES to sign it (for their own reasons) okay, fine ... he signed a bad deal (knowingly by choice). But, if they choose to pass honestly we should all applaud. As fans we should want championship fights to be good deals for the fighters. No fan should be mouthing about a fighters skill, heart, or desire based on said fighter not signing a bullsheet contract. That would be a fan-girl talking. Not a fan, nor an educated adult.

As educated adults, and fight fans, we should want every fighter to get a fair contract, based on the risks and inevitable damage fighters suffer doing their craft.

I'm not anti-AJ or anyone else. But BS is BS. I never remember an opponent of Ali bringing a stinking contract to the public's attention as a complaint. They must have gotten a "reasonable" and decent contract for the time. That's called respecting your opponent, your trade, and ultimately yourself. Particularly in highly anticipated world event types of fights.

BS is BS ... all fans should call it like it is, no matter who you like. Only kids and ignorant people wear blinders when it comes to business (and "root" for their favs regardless) Fight fans want everyone to win and be well in the BUSINESS of the fight.”

Did you not see the instagram video where your boy said 'I accept your terms'if he accepts the terms and wants the fight it's right there for him. Yeah he's got to wait a few more months, but if he wants it enough he'll take it.

He'll be earning 6 or 7 times his career high payday, will AJ be getting 6 or 7 times his? No way.

Also who says it's a 100mil+ fight? Just because Wilder and his team say it doesn't mean it's true

I'll believe it when I see it... most probably, 2/3 years late à la Floyd vs PacMan.

The problem is that these guys probably don't have the staying power of Mayweather and Pacquiao and so who's to say who will be the best two heavyweights in 2-3 years. Joshua more than anyone is set up to be embarrassed if he loses to Povetkin. Otherwise he will keep making millions but it is a bit counting your chickens before they hatch. We saw this coming for instance when Broner flushed his money down the toilet, for another recent example.

Pacman vs Floyd should’ve happened in 2009/10

That’s because he’s MANNY PACQUIAO. Wilder is not.

Pacquiao was a B side only in the most technical of terms. He was and is a massive star.

In what world is this a 100 million dollar fight? Like...has wilder been making 50 million dollar fights alone that I’m unaware of?

Aj and Wladimir was a HUUUGE event and was not 100 mil or even close. I’d say Wilder and Aj is about a 60 mil fight and thats being optimistic.

15 mil is a little low but because Wilder commands so little...it’s an astronomical raise percentage wise compared to his regular fights.

I do think it’s low but...if that’s what it takes to become the king of your division, it’s worth it every time and history shows that first you take the deal and then you forcefully take the status from the opponent. Wilder needs to go in with a winner’s mentality and not like this is going to be his last fight and is trying to cash out.

This is how they talk out both sides of their mouth. When it comes to the 50 million offer, it's not all about the money. But when it comes to a percentage for Wilder, sorry but there is nothing that can be done to make the fight. With the result being the fight doesn't get agreed to which they can blame on Wilder because anyone can perform mental gymnastics in order to defend their agenda.
