I think his defense was fine. He's going to get hit occassionally with his style, but it is time to amp up the competition a bit.

Every time Alvarez would duck, Ennis would catch him with a uppercut/hook which was very impressive. And he goes to the body very well for a youngster.

Another thing I should add, he has the height and reach to continue climbing weight classes and eventually be a big factor at MW. May only stay at WW for two or so more years before going up to 154. Hopefully not until he gets his shot against the elites. And I guess the same the other way. Hopefully Spence doesn't move up too soon either.
