I'm ignoring all the other ****e you said, business is business and the fact he's been offered 10x his highest purse and rolls reversed in the rematch should he win I'd say that's pretty good business.

It literally comes down to him swallowing his pride and accepting that the offer made is going to be the best he will get, unless of course his team want to put forward a counter offer. After all they can give AJ $50m guaranteed (apparently) and still pay Wilder what he wants... why aren't they coming back with that?

Wilder should be asking his team to do that, if it's a $100m fight (it isn't, it's £40m tops) which he seems to think then there should be no reason not to offer that if he want's 50/50?
It doesn’t matter what amount time thisnor that. It’s all relative and it takes two to tango. 50-50 no but equitable not this flat 15 mil garbage. 60-40 is a more reasonable split. This isn’t about swallowing pride and I’ve never heard such tripe when it comes to champions. You apparently didn’t get the gist of the post so I’ll just say the parts concerning educated adults, fan girl taking, kids, ignorant people, blinders....they each apply with that response and I won’t even tell you why. I’m done with emotional ignorance

Enough of this contract bull****e. Let me give to you one of the more educated quotes on this site.

“No champion (with a belt) should sign a completely one-sided contract for a championship fight. Nor should they sign a contract with pertinent info left out (re: date of event; location of event).

A-side/B-side nonsense don't matter. A championship fight that is gonna draw world attention should be fair and equitable to both fighters - period. The AJ/Hearn nonsense was none of that ... it really is mindless for anyone to insist that a champion fighter should accept any old contract with any kind of blatant unfair and demeaning conditions in it. If a fighter CHOOSES to sign it (for their own reasons) okay, fine ... he signed a bad deal (knowingly by choice). But, if they choose to pass honestly we should all applaud. As fans we should want championship fights to be good deals for the fighters. No fan should be mouthing about a fighters skill, heart, or desire based on said fighter not signing a bullsheet contract. That would be a fan-girl talking. Not a fan, nor an educated adult.

As educated adults, and fight fans, we should want every fighter to get a fair contract, based on the risks and inevitable damage fighters suffer doing their craft.

I'm not anti-AJ or anyone else. But BS is BS. I never remember an opponent of Ali bringing a stinking contract to the public's attention as a complaint. They must have gotten a "reasonable" and decent contract for the time. That's called respecting your opponent, your trade, and ultimately yourself. Particularly in highly anticipated world event types of fights.

BS is BS ... all fans should call it like it is, no matter who you like. Only kids and ignorant people wear blinders when it comes to business (and "root" for their favs regardless) Fight fans want everyone to win and be well in the BUSINESS of the fight.”
well played sir..a needle in a haystack

Parker fought Joshua the same way that Haye fought Wlad - two pu55ies who just wanted to survive and not get KO'd.

Vlad as you call him was born
March 25 1976 which makes him 42 years old. I know public education took a dive but cmon man this is simple google search and mathematics
Everyone thinks Ortiz lies about his age. Dave Allen said he smelled like he was 70.

I agree. How can he call himself a champion if he's afraid to fight the only other fighter with a belt? Kind of odd if you ask me.

It was AJ that was the let down in that fight. Parker did alright but let's face it he's not a great fighter anyway. He came forward quite a bit and threw his hands enough to say he did reasonably well overall.
