Well as the Povetkin tickets sell like hot cakes you have to ask yourself, why is no one boycotting the fight because they support Wilder?
It’s becuase he doesn’t have any fans where Joshua fights and there’s a whole world outside of America. I know it’s a tough concept to grasp but there are a lot of people in Europe, plenty to sell out stadiums many times over. He doesn’t need Wilder, Wilder needs him.
The only reason for AJ to chase Wilder at all costs would be for ego, to get respect, to have ‘all’ the belts. He’s saying ‘why bother?’ because in 10 years from now he’ll be done and richer for managing his career cleverly. Smart man.Comment

I know that Floyd's Dad said that there was no way he'd let Floyd fight GGG. Said Floyd's health was too important to put it into jeopardy.I dont think he’s ducking it’s just a guy who’s clearly frustrated that he doesn’t know how to articulate it. Wilder and Joshua arent afraid it’s just a sotuation where everyone is ******ed. The only one making sense is Hearn...and you have to try REALLY hard and put yourself in his position and be a douche.
It’s up there with some of the things Thurman has said and Floyd has said. We know they’re not ducking or afraid but it comes off real bad with the timing. I’ve given most guys the benefit of the doubt....except Victor Ortrees who flat out said he shouldnt be taking beatings and proceeded to have a prolific quitting career.Comment

Anyone thinking on AJ's level ought to be ashamed.I think what Wilder fans don’t get, is he doesn’t give a **** if you ‘respect’ him. It’s not prison, it’s not the street, he really couldn’t care about your opinion of the way he manages his career, because he’s turning up to collect $15-20m pay checks and the guy you’re cheerleading is not.
You can go around thinking he’s scared because he knows what’s really going, he’s strategising a way to change the game, you’re not thinking on his level.Comment

They're already in a panic trying to do damage control! lol
But Joshua himself must be beginning to mentally crumb under the intense scrutiny. He usually tries to be cool and think before he speaks. Now he's letting Jarrell Miller get under his skin, and he's telling fans to go fight Wilder themselves. I've never heard a champion say anything like that.Comment

No, he told you how he feels about his detractors, his fans see what’s going on or just think he’s awesome cos they’re into ‘insta’ and that’s their vibe.
People are deluded that boxing is anything other than a business, watching the recent GGG v Canelo negotiations or Wilder v AJ must be in no doubt now.
This all broke down because of DAZN, simple as that. AJ is going with the long term big bucks over foolish pride, and it’s the right thing to do from a business perspective. Doesn’t make Wilder fans happy, who cares.Comment

He can make lots of money off of idiots who will pay him to fight anyone rather than the best. And I'm sure there will be people, such as yourself, who will brag about how much money he makes while he sits there and tells you he doesn't care what you want.Well as the Povetkin tickets sell like hot cakes you have to ask yourself, why is no one boycotting the fight because they support Wilder?

So AJ is the European champion and since that is his stage has no real claim to being a world Champion. Yea, I can see that.Well as the Povetkin tickets sell like hot cakes you have to ask yourself, why is no one boycotting the fight because they support Wilder?

Wilder fans have no business pulling the ‘fighting the best’ card. Hes had twice as many years as a pro (than AJ) to fight quality opponents and he didn’t, only got himself to blame.
And btw, they will fight, so the fans will get what they want, I’m maybe just more patient. If anything it’s good for Wilder, the more he can work on improving the better.
Most people I know aren’t fixated on Wilder, technically Povetkin is as good opponent and it’s a good match up.Comment
