1-2 fights to close out 2018 sounds about right. Lets hope that Hurd's team doesn't ask for Munguia as his next fight come November or December. As much as I would love that fight to happen, Munguia is still green and needs more experience. Beefy is a good test. My prediction: Munguia 5th round KO!

That would be a good fight. I give the edge to Hurd because he's been in there with better competition.

Jarrett Hurd clapped back at Jaime Munguia:

SW⚡️FT Jarrett Hurd on Twitter: "@jaimemunguia15 if you keep talking I’m going to take that title from you earlier than I anticipated. I was trying to spare you until after the Charlo fight. Focus on LiamBeefySmith before you get hurt kid. https://t.co/zaJdDrRkOp"

Imagine if Smith beat him. Would it go on record as the shortest lived hype job ever?

He’s Mexican and wants to appeal to the crowd. I like that. He’s looking to the bigger, unified champ that will undoubtedly be a much tougher fight in terms of punishment.

He’s looking to test his mettle through a trial by fire. I like it.

In terms of viewing pleasure/preference, I’d pay for Hurd-Munguia and maybe even Hurd-Charlo. Not so sure about Charlo-Munguia at this stage.

Kid is calling out the big dog in the division. Hurd is currently the man who beat the man so lets make it happen in a few fights if Munguia gets there. He’s HUGE and looks the goods but skill wise he needs a little more time.

Charlo is a little too skilled right now and Hurd might be a little too much for him. Lets see him vs Smith and take it from there. Not every 21 year old is as good and experiencd as Canelo and we’ve gotta see him in with some more top 10 guys.
You make some good points, but I like Charlo with either guy better than them vs each other. I've never really enjoyed the all punching all the time fights that there two styles would naturally bring. I prefer a fight with ebbs and flows.

And if the kids isn't ready yet for the big names he should just stop saying them
