I (and probably other real boxing fans) knew who Parker was before he fought AJ and regarding the rankings, I only mentioned that to highlight the difference between what AJ has fought, compared to Wilder.
The likes of Tyson and Holyfield, etc. were undoubtedly a far more accomplished group of fighters than we see today but again, it has nothing to do with the list of current fighters available - they are the history of boxing!
Just to clarify, i'm not all together sure that AJ beats Wilder, Wilder does have that KO ability; and for the record, I also think that Wilder could or even should be a far bigger star than he is today but they can only fight whats in front of them and it is abundantly obvious that Wilder's opponents have been specifically chosen for a reason.
    Whole heartedly agree

Yeah, I got a feeling that this isnt going to end well for Parker. Whyte by vicious knockout.

Parker is decent but his wins against decent opposition are close/disputed (Ruiz, Takam, Fury, etc.). Good chin, good speed, not enough power or punches or aggression. Whyte lost a close one to Chisora IMO and Browne was a sad state of affairs. I think Parker should be able to outbox him in a close, boring fight however Hearn wants Whyte to win this so AJ has another challenger to leverage Wilder against. Whyte's loss was more dramatic and earlier than Parker's loss. That gives it more potential.

This is an old news. What point are you guys at Boxing Scene trying to make by bringing it up?

                Dillian on points for me.
Yeah should be interesting, I dont see a KO happening but I expect a bit more drama than the Parker vs Whyte fight. I'm going for a Whyte win as well.
