He didn't reject that offer. Just because he didn't sign it doesn't mean he rejected it either. It was Joshua's mouthing off that killed that deal by his "Give me $50 Mil- I'll sign to tomorrow" comment which was why Wilder never agreed to sign that $12.5 Mil contract. He simply called AJ on his bluff to only have him blink on his threat later.

Of course he didn't fight for the flat fee. He had already been offered a 50/50 deal. It was pretty much public information that Pacquiao had been getting advances on future earnings from Bob Arum and that he was not managing his money well. Mayweather maybe thought that he could take advantage of that with the flat fee offer. But Deontay Wilder does not have the same kind of leverage that Pacquiao had in that scenario. And I know that you're not arguing that.Comment

Not that there hasn't been a little b.s. from both sides in this back n' forth... but Wilder just needs to stop all the whining and sign for this one. HE isn't bigger than boxing like he thinks he is. And BTW, this whining right here is just indicative of the difference of experience and skill in the 2 camps. Shelly is small change, Hearn is the more experienced by far. Wilder has worked for peanuts because of Shelly. Hearn obviously has bigger stones and it shows with the mega purses Joshua has brought in. Wilder just needs to shut. the. he!!. up. and. SIGN. Get this show on the road.Comment
