Comments Thread For: Wilder: Eddie Hearn is Not a Guy That You Can Trust

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs) is sticking to his guns when it comes to the terms of a potential unification with IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO champion Anthony Joshua (21-0, 20 KOs). Joshua will return on September 22nd, when he defends his belts against WBA mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin at Wembley in London.

All his fighters trust him to make money for them and get opportunities for them.

That's good enough for most sane boxing fans.

If Wilder was with Matchroom with 40 fights and 39 KOs he would be earning double what he does currently.

James Degale, E.U bum jr. Luis Ortiz and Kubrat Pulev would agree that Eddie Hearn is not to be trusted.

Hearn is what made Joshua today.
He's the one who added a prestigious name Klitschko in his resume.
You've seen the fight. AJ almost got stopped, which means there was still risk involved.
In contrast, Finkel treated Wilder like a baby, "He won't be rushed to fight Klitsch."
Don't even get what this Deontay guy is saying.
You don't have to trust any promoter.
Question is do you want the fight or want retirement money?

Why do you need to trust him?

All you have to do is beat the reigning king and you won't have to deal with any of the issues that bother you.
This guy wants to skip the test and get rewarded right away.
Have never seen anything like it.

In life and in business always look at the track record. It's one thing talking the talk and quite another to actually walk the walk.

                  Wilder after things got real:
