Should Wilder target Fury for the "LINEAL" title?

Fury isn't the lineal champion anymore. He took two and a half years off due to cheating suspension/coke binge/retirement.

It'd be like saying Jeff Horn won the lineal title from Pacquiao. You can't retire and then come back after over 30 months to fight a garbage cruiserweight and still claim the lineal title.

The lineal title is vacant, and will remain so until Joshua and Wilder fight each other (unless one of them loses prior to that).

Wilder didn't want it while Fury was active. I think Fury would rather risk a loss to AJ for much more money. AJ vs Fury is a much bigger fight.

It would be the second biggest fight in the division and Wilder would ice him. That win would push him as close to the 50/50 he is seeking.

You think Wilder wouldn't have priced himself out then as he is now? Keep lying to yourself.

Wilder should send Fury a contact.

Regardless, the point is, American fans have let down Wilder for a long time and that is partially his own fault. Love how everyone is coming out of the woodwork now and demanding a bigger purse for a fighter whose fights they never paid for.

In what world accepting a flat fee in a fight this big is pricing himself out? Are you crazy?

The don’t see why not if the money is there and the interest is there.

He should do it in Las Vegas.
