Last night's performance was very sad, and as a father, watching Joe's old man was the saddest part of all. This story has "Greek tragedy" written all over it. The Romans are still stealing from the Greeks. I'm ashamed to admit I watched the fight, it was like sitting at a busy intersection hoping to see a car wreck.

His layoff wasn't that long, so it's possible for him to regain the technique he once had, and who knows if he's still hindered by the injuries. If he get in great shape maybe he can get to his former self although it is a longshot. I wish him the best of the luck and man that Jirov fight was exciting

MAB's injury was dar worse than Mesi's and none of you seem to have a problem with him fighting.

That said I am probobly the biggest Mesi fan on the site and I am very torn about his comeback. I really think that he is fine and has every right to fight on.

But he did not look good in his last 2 fights. I was thinking that all he would need would be 3 fights before stepping up. Now I believe that he needs at least 6 or seven fights over the course of a year.

He would have a tough time with some of the bums that Briggs has been beating.
