Much like the Parker fight the Matchroom sponsored ref will make sure Povetkin isn't allowed to use his greatest asset of inside fighting.

If Povetkin is prevented from fighting at short range then the fight will go the distance then, because AJ is a counter puncher and Sasha is a dangerous puncher. I don't see Joshua chasing/following a puncher like Povetkin around the ring by taking chances and walking into a punch that he doesn't see.

Takam was 20 pounds heavier against Povetkin . lol

Joshua also did more damage in the first 4 rnds with far less punches then Povetkin did ithe entire fight .

Joshua actually knocking Takam down in rnd 4 and he had two cuts above each eye but we'll ignore that to .. lol

He KOd Takam 4 years ago when he was pumped up full of roids and was much younger. He's since been knocked down by the likes of David Price, and could have been stopped were he not saved by the bell. He also ate a lot of Price's jabs in that fight, which is saying something as Price has one of the worst jabs in boxing history.

This fight he'll be drug tested and is fighting a guy with much more skill and confidence than David Price. Moreover AJ seems to be improving in his ability to keep guys on the outside (with the help of a friendly referee).

A couple of years ago this was a 50/50 fight but not now, not with drug testing, not with Povetkin's decline, and not with AJ's improvement. An upset could happen and Povetkin is not a bad opponent or anything but he's not an absolute killer.
