Parker winning the vacant belt aside, he hasn't really beat anyone worth beating in style, and that's the same for the other two, tbh.
Plus, this would lead the casuals and Hearn to say "compare Joshua and Wilder's resumes" in any future negotiations or discussions about Wilder and Joshua.

I consider myself a pretty serious boxing fan (not crazy serious, but serious enough). I've heard of Kownacki and Rivas but I've never actually watched either of them fight. I have watched Povetkin, Whyte, Miller, Parker at least twice each. I'm sure 99% of casuals would have no idea who either of Rivas or Kownacki are. This makes those fights less marketable and Wilder will end up earning less.

I can't type "known quantitie.s" without getting starred out? SERIOUSLY boxing scene?

why would he want to improve it? 15 mil (is that sterling?) is fantastic cash for wilder, even better if its sterling!!!!! wilder should be biting hearns hand off imo, joshua will get 30 to 40 mil i presume, so wilder is getting 5x plus his top payday and joshua maybe 2x, sounds more than fair to me, actually sounds more than wilder should be getting to be honest

Originally posted by j.razor View PostAj never made 50mill so why is Aj ducking that AFTER HE SAID that that's what he wanted to make the fight?
Aj always said first the fight has to be in the uk
Wilder agreed to it
Wilder rejected ajs offer
Aj said fine give me 50m
Wilder then said yes but tried to change the location
Aj said it’s in the uk for the fans and he is the a side, as I thought you were bluffing fight is on the uk
Aj then gives wilder 5 times his biggest pay day or 6
Wilder is the damn b side, he fights Uber drivers,
Aj signed the contract and wilder turned down 15m to fight ajs left over for 2m
What a joke wilder is,
All he had to do was sign the damn contract but he *****ed out. Then starts to cry on the internet
The man won’t even meet aj to make a deal, they refuse to turn up to meetings
That’s how scared wilder is
Wilder said uk is where it happens, then he changes his mind like he has a choice, he is a d level bum keeping a belt hostage. Aj has given him a huge offer, he needs to find his balls and pen to fight before April also vanishes
Aj sells 1m ppvs makes 30m per fight easily, wilder is nothing but a keyboard warrior
You need to understand aj vs wilder
Wilder makes 5-6 times his biggest pay day
Joshau doesn’t even make 2 times as he alrwdy is the biggest star in boxingLast edited by lfc19titles; 07-17-2018, 11:48 AM.

Because the real fans want to ACTUALLY see this fight thats why !
The Wilder protectors like yourself ( dont say your not ) would rather argue a justification to how unfair Wilder is treated and then cry about others talking about money which you yourself are doing .
The difference is they WANT Wilder to accept over 7 x his highest pay while YOU guys would rather the fight not happening bc you deem a flat fee witha 50% rematch claus to it in the U.S unfair of what WILL be 100 /plus Million dollar fight if Wilder wins !

They could have just withdrawn or lowered the guarantee and offered a 60/40, 65/35 or 70/30 split to Joshua. If they truly wanted to bring Joshua to the US and buy home advantage for Wilder they could have done it. But they never even tried. They just tried to lowball him through that YouTube video he did. A PR play, and a well executed one at that.
There ain't no way Haymon is '******** or risking' on this fight. If he's offering a $50m guarantee he projects he's making money either on the fight itself or the investment in Wilder or Joshua.
If Wilder can do anywhere close to those numbers on his own then maybe he would be justified in trying to hold Joshua to his word.
Pay out whatever it takes for Joshua not to leave the UK, and there's not a fight on the planet where he earns more than $25m (ignoring his sponsors).
Deontay Wilder is just getting onto the money; the TV interest is now clearly there, he's selling tickets at premium prices wherever he fights, and he's on a dollar figure that might give him one more fight on Showtime before having to move to CBS for a few fights or to PPV.
Wilder needs to keep winning, but he's pretty well set to get to Joshua's $25m in a few PPV fights (@$65/$75, Wilder basically needs to draw 500k homes).
Anthony Joshua made it super simple; I know what I make in the UK, and if you think that this is a $100m fight, give me $50m and I'll fight you anywhere.
$100m is a big ask for the fight, but $70m-$75m really isn't (67/33 Joshua split) and there's a trigger in the clause that also keeps Joshua in on the upside of this turns into Mayweather-Pacquiao or Mayweather-McGregor.
Now you're crying about the split of the hypothetical upside on the fight? lol.
