I've seen guys like Manny, Floyd, and Oscar climb mountains to get to the top of the game. Fighting guys much bigger than them. Moving up and taking on guys is a part of the game to get the crown.

If they pass this up, I understand. But it's also something that will leave a bad taste in my mouth. I'd expect more from him at 30 years old. This is a fight that could change his life.

I see it like this, Loma has already just moved up. He can stay at 135 and concentrate on Mikey. Manny can fight at 147 and fight the other champs there.

This fight is literally a young champion's dream fight. Take down the aging PPV star and become a box office fighter in your prime. It worked for Oscar, Floyd, and Manny. Hell it even worked for Canelo in a loss. People forget his first PPV main event was against Floyd w/ 2.5 million guys (Jesus lol). He hasn't missed a check since.

It's literally the best scenario in the business. There's no way around it.
