And he didn't just give up, he just took a second fight ending uppercut and spit the mouthpiece out because he was fkn hurt. That was plain to see to me. That was a hard, flush shot right on his chin. LM didn't take a dive. He was simply outclassed. Manny has had a year ro build up frustration over people calling him shot because he was robbed in Australia last year and Lucas had to be the reliever this time. Sucks to be him, but at least he was paid well.

The right hook Manny threw at the end of round 5 with nine seconds left didn't even land. Just like the punches right before that didn't land. Manny throws three jabs in a row that don't land and he throws another right hook that doesn't land and Lucas takes a knee. If you don't believe this fight was staged, then you obviously DKSAB. The only explanation for the knee is if Lucas was affected by the right hook that Pac did land at the 13 second mark of round five but he didn't appeared bothered by it at all when it landed. Which is why I think the knee was b.s. To me this was a clearly staged fight. The fact that Lucas got paid so well is disgusting to me but hey, that's boxing.

Dumb to say, the punch did land on his forehead. Go watch Wlad K. vs. Eddie Chambers and see what a well placed forehead shot can do.

Exactly. He felt Mannys power right away and knew his chances were slim but he didn't come to take a dive and tried until the very end when that jaw crushing uppercut landes. He was throwing some very hard shots in there that Manny just barely slipped. Those shots probably would have caught a more reckless version of Pacquiao. People are just hating because Manny proved a lot of doubters wrong last night and pride is hard to swallow sometimes.
