I think Terrence Dooley will not be on my "Best Read" list after this article.

Sure the boy passed the tests.

I just don't like how he's Valedictorian automatically.

Hey guys, thanks for your comments on the article, I see you can't please everyone but that is boxing

I felt that Wright was the fighter who got beat-up over the course of the fight and he looked very uncomfortable in there at times, even when Jermain had the eye problem Wright was unsure about his ability to come in blazing and set the seal on the fight.

If Wright went into the round thinking he had won and was fine about losing the round that is wrong, it was a class fight and I imagine the fans had paid a tidy sum to sit and watch at ringside and in the stalls, he had a duty to pour it forth for those fans. Like Taylor said he had come to fight for the duration and tried to do so, Wright either knew he had most to lose by warring in the final round, failing that he lacked ring genralmanship at a vital time.

Whatever the truth the fact Wright is flat-out, at this time, refusing a rematch on moral grounds is ludicrous, he is not Martin Luther King he is a business man and if he wants to turn down more HBO dollars there is a reason. I just feel the reason is that he knows he cannot hack it at the higher poundage.

I'd love to see Wright go back down and reclaim his throne at a lower weight.

As for Taylor, I'm not going to go crazy and declare him unbeatable, anything can happen in this sport yet he is young, fresh and willing to fight. He will not be doing a Vitali Klitschko and for that we can be grateful.

          Enjoy the fights tonight guys

I am much more interested in seeing a guy like Taylor who shows heart and desire to win throughout 12 rounds...vs Hopkins and Winky..there were times where they would trap him and unload on him...he would use his speed and strength to fire right back

when did Judah or Camacho Jr ever do that?

Taylor is a true warrior and it will take him a long way...he may lose a couple and people will write him off...but he is not an old man...

already within 3 fights he has fought two HOFers...(yes I think Winky will eventually make it into the HOF with 1, 2 or 3 more good-high profile fights

Yeah, if you figure that he has between 5-10 years (if he does a B-Hop) left he has plenty of time to impress and have some great fights and that is good for us guys. He has improved since the Hopkins fight and that is a good sign, Manny will get him boxing with more balance and power.

I'd say that he is one of the few improving boxers in the sport along with Pac-Man (who I'm slowly forgiving for destroying my idol MAB ) It is great to see two guys like this who listen to their wise trainers and take on board the advice needed to improve their game. Fighters like this are a credit to the sport of boxing.

Taylor, like Pac-Man, has balls and a willingness to fight, that is a great combo for HBO and for great fights. Bring on Sturm and Abraham

my only qualm with taylor is that he has been incapable with winning these fights decisively. sure it's nice that he has hung right in there with two great older fighters, but i personally don't think he looked impressive at all until the wright fight. even with that fight i thought it was a fight which he lost. i also thought that he did nothing to take hopkins title away from him...much like some would say wright didn't do enough in the 12th to take taylors title from him.

i think jermain is a classy guy and is good for the sport, but i just cannot get excited over him until he finally gives a stout & dominating performance. my two cents.
